Their courage and resilience continue to inspire us all.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. remains steadfast in its mission to uplift and support our communities—especially as we confront the health disparities that disproportionately affect Black women. With higher mortality rates and later-stage diagnoses, the call for early detection, education, and equitable access to care has never been more urgent.
The Tuscaloosa Alumnae Chapter proudly upholds its 75-year legacy of service, sisterhood, and global advocacy. Through our continued engagement, we strive to increase awareness of breast cancer prevention, screening, treatment advancements, and early detection—both locally and across the world.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a private, not-for-profit organization founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate women at Howard University.
